A McDonald’s restaurant in Saskatoon briefly closed on Tuesday after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
“Out of an abundance of caution, the decision was made to immediately shut down the restaurant for a thorough cleaning and sanitization by a certified third party,” McDonald’s said in a statement.
The company says the employee’s last shift at the Idylwyld Drive location was on Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The worker and all colleagues who were in close contact have been asked to self-quarantine until further information is available.
Guests who visited the restaurant on Sept. 20 are asked to follow directions from public health.
