A woman crossing the street landed in hospital after being hit by a pickup truck Monday afternoon.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Lorne Avenue and 8th Street East around 3:30 pm. Members arrived to find an injured 45-year-old woman.
She was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services. At this time, her injuries are potentially life-threatening.
No charges have been laid, but the investigation continues.
