Police responded to a report of a suspicious package at the Saskatoon airport Monday morning.
At around 10:30 a.m. police got a call after airport security located a suspicious electronic item in a passengers bag as they were going through security.
The airport was evacuated at 11:28 am due to an ongoing incident. All flight operations have been temporarily suspended. We ask the public to delay coming to the airport until further notice. More details to follow.

Members of the Saskatoon police explosive unit attended the scene and removed the item.
Airport operations returned to normal and the terminal reopened to the public around 1:00 p.m.
No charges have been laid.
