On Friday night, police say they caught a man on a motorcycle going more than 80 kilometres per hour over the posted speed limit.
In a release, police say the Air Support Unit (ASU) observed the man driving his motorbike in a dangerous manner.
At around 10:15 p.m., members of the ASU observed a motorcycle stunting and travelling at high rates of speed.
At one point the motorcycle was observed going 144 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
The ASU continued to relay the motorbike’s path to ground units, and members of the Traffic Unit arrested the operator from a home in the 200 block of Roberecki Crescent.
A 19-year-old is charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
Woman stabbed
On Saturday night at around 9:45 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 1500 block of 20th Street West after getting reports that a woman was walking down the street calling for help.
When police arrived, they found a woman sitting on the ground and suffering from a stab wound.
She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police dog bites suspect
In a Monday morning incident, police say a 20-year-old man is facing charges after a woman reported he approached her vehicle and started striking it.
At around 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a parking lot in the Wildwood neighbourhood after a woman said a man approached her vehicle, started yelling, and began to hit it.
The police found the suspect near his vehicle a short distance away, but when they approached him, he refused to obey commands.
The suspect got into his vehicle and fled at a high rate of speed before abandoning the vehicle in the 1100 block of McKercher Drive.
Police used the canine unit to find the suspect hiding in a backyard in the Wildwood neighbourhood.
The man was treated at the scene for injuries for a dog bite. He is facing a string of charges including evading police and breaching court conditions.
The victim and suspect are believed to be known to each other.
