The province announced 20 new COVID-19 cases for Saskatchewan on Sunday.
This brings the total amount of active cases to 140 throughout the province.
The Regina region saw 10 new cases on Sunday, Saskatoon with seven and the southeast zone with two. The location of the remaining case is pending.
The seven new cases reported Sunday in the Saskatoon area are associated with the workplace outbreak previously identified at Brandt Industries. To date, there have been 14 cases linked to that workplace.
A total of 10 people are in hospital, eight of which are in Saskatoon.
One person is in intensive care in Saskatoon, along with seven people receiving inpatient care.
Regina and the south-central zone have one person each receiving inpatient care.
Investigations completed thus far have found that 27 of the 140 current active cases are from communal living settings.
Yesterday, 2,426 COVID-19 tests were performed in Saskatchewan, which is the second most amount of tests performed in a single day in the province.
On Friday, 2,873 COVID-19 tests were performed in Saskatchewan, beating out the previous record of 2,129 tests performed on Aug. 6.
