A 52-year-old man is facing a mischief charge after an incident at a downtown business.
At about 4 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to a business in the 100 block of Second Avenue South.
In a release, police say a man had entered the business and claimed to have an explosive device.
When police arrived, they made sure everyone had safely left the building uninjured.
The suspect was arrested without incident.
The device was secured and found not to be a risk to public safety.
The man was charged with mischief over $5,000.
