Investigators have ruled a commercial building in Riversdale was intentionally set on fire Sunday night.
Firefighters were responding to another alarm call around 6:30 p.m. when they noticed black smoke in area. The discovered a building on fire in the 200 block of Avenue I South.
Crews faced several hazards, including arcing power lines, electrical boxes, and an on-site propane tank.
The fire was brought under control before 11:30 p.m., however crews remained on scene until the next morning putting out hot spots.
The building partially collapsed in the fire. The estimated damage is pegged at $750,000.
No one was injured.
