Saskatchewan health officials reported 11 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, as well as one recovery.
The new cases are spread out throughout the province. There are two in the far northwest region, two in Saskatoon, two in the central west region, one in the central east, one in the southwest, one in the south-central, and one in the southeast zones. The location of the eleventh case is pending.
Out of 1,662 reported cases, 58 are considered active.
One person is in hospital in intensive care in Saskatoon.
Yesterday, 1,861 COVID-19 tests were performed in Saskatchewan.
Drive-through testing sites that do not require a referral will open Tuesday in Regina and Thursday in Saskatoon. This is in addition to the testing and assessment centres already open.
Regina’s drive-through testing will happen at Hall C of the International Trade Centre at Evraz Place. Testing will take place between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
Saskatoon’s drive-through is located at 3630 Thatcher Avenue. Testing will take place between noon and 7:15 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
