The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is alerting the public of a positive case of COVID-19 at the Parkridge Centre in Saskatoon.
According to a news release by the SHA, a decision was made to limit visitors in response to the news of a positive case.
“The decision to restrict family presence is not taken lightly. These measures are in place to keep you, your loved ones, and health care workers safe,” the release states. “The SHA is asking the public for their support and cooperation in order to contain the spread of the virus.”
People will only be allowed to visit for compassionate reasons, like seeing a family member close to the end of their life.
It was not disclosed in the release whether it was a resident or an employee who tested positive.
