Saskatoon police have located and arrested a suspect in connection to a downtown stabbing Tuesday afternoon.
In a release, police said officers were called to the 300 block of Second Avenue South at about 1:15 p.m.
They found a man who had been stabbed and was suffering serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital by Medavie Health Services.
Police then put out a call to locate a man, who was last seen using crutches, with a blue sweatshirt and a pink cast on one of his legs.
Shortly after 5 p.m., police arrested the 25-year-old man on the 300 block of 22nd Street East.
He has been charged with aggravated assault and breach of a probation order. The suspect will appear in provincial court Wednesday.
