Two teenage boys are facing numerous charges after leading police on a car chase through Saskatoon’s west end on Saturday.
Officers noticed a suspicious vehicle shortly after 10 p.m. on Hart Road and saw two people rush into the vehicle that police later found out was stolen and drove away.
Police found the vehicle in the 1200 block of McNaughton Avenue shortly after the chase was called off due to safety concerns when a spike strip was deployed. Police dogs quickly tracked and found the suspects.
A 15-year-old boy is charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, dangerous driving, failure to stop for police, weapon dangerous to the public and breaching his court conditions.

Both suspects were treated for dog bite injuries before being transported to detention.
