The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) says someone who later tested positive for COVID-19 was likely infectious while at Regina International Airport last Sunday.
The person visited several areas of the airport between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. including the Tim Hortons passed security before boarding a flight, a news release said.
Because the person is not from Saskatchewan their home province, which the SHA did not disclose, will provide flight details for contact tracing purposes.
Anyone at the airport during the same period last Sunday should monitor for COVID-19 symptoms.
Anyone who has noticed symptoms, including a cough, fever, headache and soreness should self-isolate immediately and call HealthLine 811.
