Multi-vehicle collision near Wakaw blocks Highway 41 in both directions

Wakaw RCMP are on the scene of a collision involving four vehicles and a semi-truck on a construction site on Highway 41, about five miles east of Wakaw.

In a release, the RCMP say traffic is currently blocked in both directions.

Traffic is being rerouted until further notice. The RCMP say motorists should take alternate routes and follow traffic restrictions.

There isn’t any word yet about possible injuries.

Local fire departments and EMS are on the scene.
