The body of a 35-year-old man who went missing while swimming in Lake Diefenbaker has been recovered.
A release from the RCMP says at about 1:15 Monday afternoon, the man’s body was found about 30 metres from the shore near the Gardiner Dam.
The man had gone missing on Thursday while swimming with a friend.
An autopsy will be done later this week, but the RCMP says the drowning is not considered suspicious.
