Saskatchewan reported 19 more recoveries and two new cases of COVID-19 in the province Saturday.
The new cases — one each in the Saskatoon and southwest zones, bring the total number of cases to 1,597.
There are 117 active cases in the province including five people in hospital, all of which are in Saskatoon. One person is receiving inpatient care, while four people are in intensive care.
Yesterday, 1,757 COVID-19 tests were performed in the province.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority wants to remind people that COVID-19 testing is available to anyone who requests it, regardless of whether they have symptoms or not. A referral for testing can be made by contacting HealthLine 811.
