A search is underway for a 35-year-old man who went missing while swimming in Lake Diefenbaker.
The RCMP says in a release that at 6:40 p.m. Thursday, the Outlook detachment was called about a possible drowning.
It was reported a man and a woman were swimming in Lake Diefenbaker. The woman made it to shore, but couldn’t find the man in the water or on the shore.
He has not been found and was last seen in the area near Danielson Provincial Park.
The Outlook RCMP, Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment, Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (CASARA), Outlook Fire Department and members of the public began searching the lake and shoreline by boat, ground and air.
The search continued Friday.
