An online crowdfunding campaign is looking to raise money for the victims of a tragic fire.
The blaze tore through a home on the 500 block of Albert Avenue early last Friday morning in Saskatoon’s Nutana neighbourhood.
Firefighters said one person was dead, later identified as a 25-year-old man, and two of the six people that evacuated went to the hospital.
Now a GoFundMe campaign hopes to raise $15,000 to help cover funeral expenses and assist the six people left homeless.
At the last update, fire investigators had not determined the cause of the blaze.
