After months of COVID-related lockdown, a number of Regina tours and activities are restarting.
The Provincial Capital Commission says bookings now can be made for tours at Government House and Wascana Centre.
Private one-hour museum tours of Government House are available for one family group or social bubble of up to nine people at one time.
All visitors and tour guides must wear masks and physically distance at all time during the tour.
Visitors will need to pre-book online (INSERT LINK: https://governmenthousesk.ca/visit-us/admission#Form) or by calling 306-526-7090.
In Wascana Centre, ferry boat tours are available for groups of five or less on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The cost is $40.
All tours must be pre-booked to allow for proper cleaning and sanitization.
As well, guided walking tours for groups of up to five people are available in Wascana Centre on Thursdays and Fridays, starting at 1 p.m.
Advance booking is required for the tours, which are free.
Wascana Centre’s Willow Island also is available for bookings on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Groups of up to 30 people can visit the island and will have access to a firepit and picnic facilities.
