Saskatoon police say a 28-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of a man at the Saskatoon Inn on the weekend.
On Saturday, police were called to the hotel in response to an injured man in one of the hotel rooms. When officers arrived, they found a 27-year-old man who was dead.
On Tuesday evening, police found the suspect and another person of interest in the investigation at a home in the 200 block of Avenue S North, where they were both arrested without incident.
Police say the accused and the victim knew each other.
The 28-year-old man was to appear in court Wednesday afternoon.
Police are still investigating the murder and ask anyone with any information to contact them.
