Murray Wood says Saskatchewan's north is a big draw to American anglers, for some obvious reasons.
Saskatoon police responded to an apparent stabbing on Monday morning just before 9 a.m.
Officers responded to reports of a man who had been stabbed in the chest at a hotel on the 800 block of Idylwyld Dr. North. The man was taken to hospital in stable condition.
The alleged suspect was arrested, he was also treated for minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and further updates will be released once more information is available.
