Billets were found for all Red Wings players in just four hours.
It took hours of conversation, but Saskatoon Police crisis negotiators were able to get a man in distress to safety on Friday.
According to a release from Saskatoon police, a 34-year-old man was reported around 6 p.m. in a “distressed state.”
They say the man had climbed a two-storey townhouse on the 900 block of Stensrud Road.
When emergency crews arrived, they were elevated to a position where they could speak to him.
After hours of negotiation, responders were able to convince him to climb into the fire truck bucket and lowered him to safety.
The man was then transported to the hospital for examination.
