A traffic stop in the city Thursday night resulted in weapons charges against a 39-year-old Alberta man.
According to the Saskatoon Police Service, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of 33rd Street West at about 10:15 p.m. During the course of the stop, they found a shotgun in the back seat of the vehicle.
The occupant of the vehicle was charged with numerous gun offences and obstruction and also was wanted on warrants. He’s to be in court Friday.
