Two men are facing charges after a break-in early Thursday at a north-end business.
Police said in a release that at around 3 a.m., officers were patrolling in the 2200 block of Northridge Drive when they observed a truck parked in an alley near the fenced compound of a business.
The officers attempted a traffic stop but the vehicle fled. It was eventually stopped in the 1200 block of Avenue C North after stop sticks were successfully deployed.
Two men were taken into custody and found to be in possession of stolen cheques and identity documents. The men were also in possession of a set of keys that was determined to be from the business compound where police had first observed the vehicle.
A 30-year-old man is charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, evade police, break and enter and possession of break-and-enter instruments.
A 36-year-old man is charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, break and enter and possession of break-and-enter instruments. He also was the subject of outstanding warrants.
