A 19-year-old man was sent to hospital after a stabbing early Tuesday morning in the Mount Royal area of the city.
Just after 4 a.m., patrol officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 100 block of St. Paul’s Place.
When they arrived, they found a 19-year-old man suffering from a stab wound.
He was believed to be under the influence of methamphetamine and wasn’t able to provide information about the incident, including a suspect description.
Officers placed a tourniquet on the man while waiting for paramedics to arrive. He was then taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
