The driver of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) has been charged with impaired driving after a deadly rollover near Wakaw Saturday.
A 51-year-old man was killed in the incident.
RCMP say in a release, officers from the Wakaw detachment were called to a rollover of a side-by-side ATV on a rural property at around 10:50 p.m.
Three occupants were riding in the vehicle when the driver lost control and rolled the vehicle. None of the occupants were wearing a helmet.
A 51-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. The 57-year-old woman passenger was not injured. The driver, a 48-year-old man, was also not injured.
A 48-year-old Saskatoon man was arrested on scene and has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death and for refusing to provide a breath sample. He will make his first court appearance on Aug. 11.
