Five men from Ontario and Quebec are facing numerous drug-related charges after Saskatoon police executed two search warrants Tuesday night.
At around 9 p.m., Drug Unit investigators and members of the Tactical Support Unit executed a high-risk search warrant in the 1600 block of Main Street East.
Five men were arrested from that location without incident. Cash, cocaine and fentanyl was found and seized from the home.
Then at around 10 p.m., a second search warrant was executed in the 200 block of Pinehouse Place. No one was found in the home, but police seized more fentanyl.
In all police seized $17,500 cash, 49.5 grams of fentanyl, 54.7 grams of powder cocaine, $2,000 counterfeit cash in American money, and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
The five men, ages 22, 27, 28, 31 and 32, are facing several charges including trafficking in cocaine and fentanyl, possession of cocaine/fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking and breach of conditions.
