A 27-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, both from Saskatoon, are facing dozens of charges after an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service’s Guns and Gangs Unit.
On Friday at around 11:30 p.m., a search warrant was executed at a home in the 100 block of Clancy Drive.
Inside the home, police found the man and the woman along with a rifle, four replica handguns, ammunition, approximately $8,300 in cash and 73 grams of methamphetamine with packaging.
The man was also linked to an incident in May when a police officer was conducting a traffic stop of a taxicab when the male passenger fled on foot. Police did not find the man, but did find a backpack inside the cab which contained 100 grams of methamphetamine and $7,000.
The man and woman are facing charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of the proceeds of crime, and more more than 15 firearm and weapons offences.
