A 40-year-old man has been charged with mischief after pointing a laser at the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) Air Support Unit early Friday morning.
At about 2 a.m., members of the SPS Air Support Unit reported two green laser strikes.
They were able to identify the person responsible and observed them entering a residence in the 10 block of Barr Place.
Patrol members attended and arrested a man who was in possession of a green laser.
Police remind the public that pointing a laser at a plane is extremely dangerous and can cause serious injury. In this case, neither the SPS pilot, nor the tactical flght officer were injured.
