A 31-year old woman is facing charges after another woman said she was held against her will and assaulted in the Pleasant Hill area.
Police say at around 1:30 a.m. Thursday, they were notified that a 35-year-old woman had been forcibly confined. She reported that between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., she was forcibly confined and assaulted at a home in the 300 block of Avenue W South.
She was able to get away and was found by someone who took her to hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
The 31-year-old woman has been charged with assault causing bodily harm and forcible confinement.
