Food Truck Wars Street Festival cancelled this summer

Another Saskatoon summer event won’t be happening this year.

This year’s Food Truck Wars Street Festival is the latest event to be cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.

The late July event usually groups all the city’s food trucks along 20th Street in Riversdale.

Organizers say they were hoping for a scaled down event, but the pandemic is making that unrealistic.

Plans are in the works for the 2021 Food Truck Wars Street Festival,  scheduled for July 20-25, 2021.
