Saskatchewan recorded a single new case of COVID-19 on Saturday.
The new case, in the Saskatoon region, brings the provincial tally up to 591. Of these, 152 are active, meaning they have not resulted in a death or a recovery.
Twenty-five more people have recovered, for a total of 433.
There are currently eight people in hospital, with three people under intensive care in Saskatoon.
Also included in the province’s update, an investigation into a case of COVID-19 at Regina’s Pasqua Hospital has finished.
The province says it was “a community-acquired case and does not constitute a hospital outbreak … thus far, all testing of staff and contacts are negative.”
