It wasn’t the trip to Disneyworld they had planned for, but four-year-old Mason got a special parade Thursday for his birthday.
The young boy with cerebal palsy was supposed to go to Disneyworld through the Make-a-Wish foundation but the trip was cancelled because of COVID-19.
So, Saskatoon came together Thursday to help him celebrate turning four.
Our sister stations, C95 and ROCK 102 were there to help with the celebration.
The parade also included the Saskatchewan Rush, a fire truck, some minions and the crew from Toy Story.
The vehicles drove by Mason’s house as neighbours and friends lined the street and cheered.
Mason was beaming.
