The Battlefords RCMP has identified the man who investigators believe stole guns during a break-in Wednesday night in North Battleford.
But the Mounties are still searching for Jeffery Alexander Holliday, a 26-year-old product of North Battleford.
In a media release Friday, the RCMP said its investigation, as well as “numerous tips from the public,” identified Holliday as the suspect. He was charged with break and enter to steal firearms, break and enter to a business with intent to commit an indictable offence, possessing a firearm while prohibited from doing so, and uttering threats.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Holliday, who may be in possession of several guns.
Anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call the Battlefords RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
