The City of Saskatoon altered some of its rules with business licence renewals Monday.
In a press release, the city says existing business owners that need to renew their licence can hold on to their existing licence until further notice.
Typically, the city sends out renewal notices by mail around a month in advance, but it paused mailing out the notices until “normal operations resume.”
Business owners that want to renew their licence can contact city staff to have a renewal notice emailed out to complete the process.
New businesses in Saskatoon must still have a business licence prior to operation, though. An online application process is available at any time and can be accessed here.
