The $1.33M rent reduction comes from what the club owed during seasons impacted by the pandemic.
As of Sunday, Saskatchewan has 18 new cases of COVID-19.
According to a press release sent by the province, the 18 new cases Sunday brings the provincial total to 249, with four people in hospital in the province.
Two people are receiving inpatient care in Saskatoon, with one in ICU. In Regina, one person is in the ICU due to COVID-19.
The province also announced 12 more recoveries of COVID-19, bringing the provincial total to 67.
Of the 249 cases in the province, 109 are travellers, 71 are community contacts with mass gatherings included in the total, 14 have no known exposures and 55 are under investigation by local public health.
Overall in the province, 123 cases are from the Saskatoon area and 51 are from the Regina area. 47 cases are from the ‘north,’ 15 from the ‘south,’ 10 from the ‘central,’ and three are from the ‘far north.’
Saskatchewan continues to have the second-highest rate of testing per capita among the provinces in Canada.
