Another closure has been announced as part of the City of Saskatoon’s continued monitoring of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The city says people will no longer be allowed to use the CP Rail pedestrian bridge, and it will be closed.
The bridge is not wide enough to practise social distancing (keeping a distance of at least two metres from others).
It will stay closed until further notice.
The city is also reminding people to avoid touching shared surfaces in public, like crosswalk buttons, handrails and benches.
It says to try to avoid using your hands to touch shared surfaces, and use your elbows when you can.
Crews will also be out over the next few days to close off the city’s 194 playground structures, but people are asked to stop using them immediately.
