Saskatoon police have arrested two women and their would-be getaway driver after a robbery early Saturday morning.
Just before 2 a.m. police responded to a called on the 1300 block of 8th Street East.
A woman reported two women with a gun had stolen her purse.
Officers spotted the suspects up the street.
They tried to get into a waiting vehicle, but police say they were unsuccessful.
Officers located the stolen purse, an imitation handgun and a small amount of methamphetamine.
A 20-year-old woman and 31-year-old woman are charged with weapons, drug and robbery offences.
The 50-year-old man behind the wheel of the waiting car was arrested for breaching conditions of a court order.
