A 16-year-old boy is facing weapons-related charges after St. Joseph High School had to be put in a lockdown situation.
Police were called to the school during the noon hour Friday after a 16-year-old boy was said to be in possession of a hatchet.
The school activated a perimeter lockdown.
The teen was located and arrested near school grounds.
There were no injuries.
The teen is charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon and mischief over $5000.
