RCMP have arrested two more people in connection with the disappearance of 20-year-old Allan Douglas Garrioch.
At about 5:30 p.m. yesterday evening, a pursuit was initiated by RCMP after a 2004 blue Jeep Cherokee failed to stop for police.
The vehicle and its two occupants were confirmed to be directly involved in the kidnapping and homicide of that occurred in Humboldt Feb. 25.
The pursuit ended about 55 kilometers from where it started when the Jeep became stuck in a ditch.
The man driving the vehicle ran from the scene.
An RCMP police dog found a 42-year-old man hiding in a bush.
A 40-year-old woman was found in the Jeep.
Steven Veilleux of Prince Albert faces several charges including first-degree murder, indignity to a body, kidnapping while using a firearm, forcible confinement and flight from police.
Jodie Lynn Veilleux from Prince Albert also faces numerous charges including kidnapping while using a firearm, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon and flight from police.
Both have been remanded and are scheduled to appear in court in Prince Albert Friday morning.
Steven Veilleux is the father of Brettin Andrew Veilleux-Pelletier and Jodie Lynn Veilleux is his step-mother.
Brettin Andrew Veilleux-Pelletier was charged in connection to the disappearance of Garrioch March 3.
Two other men, 23-year-old Joshua Dominic Canevaro and 21-year-old Tristan Daniel Morrison were arrested Saturday in connection.
