When crews arrived they had the building evacuated and one person was assessed and placed into isolation for having direct exposure to the contents of the package.
The hazmat team entered the building to get information and perform tests on the package.
The contents were identified as a non-hazardous liquid fertilizer used for growing plants.
There is no risk to public safety.
The person put in isolation didn’t need any further medical help and was released.
The leaking package was contained and removed from the facility for disposal.
