Macklin RCMP is asking for help to identify a suspect in an attempted armed robbery early Saturday morning.
Just after midnight, a man with a gun entered the Macklin Hotel and Bar and demanded money from the woman working, according to police.
The employee was able to get away and lock herself in a back room, RCMP said in a media release.
The suspect stands five feet eight inches tall and has a slim build.
At the time of the robbery, he was wearing black clothes and a mask over his face.
No money was taken before the suspect left the business, mounties said.

Macklin is location 100 kilometres south of Lloydminster.
