Two people were sent to hospital after shots were fired during a home invasion Saturday night.
In a media release, Saskatoon police said it happened just before 8 p.m. at a home in the 300 block of Marlatte Street.
Two masked people tried getting into the home when shots were fired into it. Soon after that, the suspects were seen driving off.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found one male with minor injuries and another who had been grazed by a bullet. Both of them were taken hospital.
Police later located the suspect vehicle and tried pulling it over, but the driver sped away.
Officers were eventually able to stop the vehicle in Warman, where one of the suspects fled on foot before getting arrested.
Two men — ages 26 and 30 — remain in custody and face a number of charges.
Saskatoon police’s guns and gangs unit continues to investigate.
