With a provincial election scheduled for Oct. 26, Premier Scott Moe is looking back on his first two years in office.
Moe joined John Gormley and 650 CKOM’s Brent Loucks on Thursday.
The premier discussed what keeps him going day to day.
“Two things: One, I work with an incredible group of people both elected and unelected,” he explained. “Second, we get to travel the province and the country at times.”
Moe said visiting Saskatchewan communities is a highlight. The premier shared how to attract more people into Saskatchewan.
“People move here and just as importantly people stay here when they have an opportunity for a career,” Moe said. “That’s provided by attracting investment and we have every opportunity to attract that investment and add value to our economy.”
Ahead of his second anniversary as premier in February, Moe spoke about expanding the province’s footprint abroad.
“We’re not only being represented by our Canadian offices but we have Saskatchewan advocates on the ground,” he said.
Saskatchewan recently opened trade offices in places like Tokyo and India.
