Saskatoon police have charged a 24-year-old man following a firearms investigation at an Avenue U South apartment building.
Officers responded to the building on the 100 block of Avenue U South on Friday afternoon for reports of gunshots inside.
In an update, police said a man was handling an illegal handgun and had two accidental discharges.
No one was hurt.
Police arrested the 24-year-old Friday night. He faces several firearms offences and breach charges.
