Jiri Patera made 31 saves for the shutout Sunday as the Brandon Wheat Kings posted a 5-0 WHL victory over the Regina Pats at the Brandt Centre.
The Pats were playing their third game in as many days — and they lost all three contests. The Swift Current Broncos downed Regina 7-5 on Friday and 5-4 in a shootout on Saturday.
Luka Burzan scored twice for the Wheat Kings (19-17-1-2), who got their other goals from Braden Schneider, Connor Gutenberg and Jonny Hooker.
Donovan Buskey stopped 34 shots for the Pats (11-21-3-2).
Regina is to return to action Wednesday, when the Prince George Cougars are to visit the Brandt Centre. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
