Saskatoon police have charged a 20-year-old man in the death of Andrew Merasty.
The 20-year-old man faces charges of first-degree murder and weapons offences.
On Aug. 18, Merasty, 25, was found injured on the 1800 block of 20th Street West. He was transported to hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound but died of his injuries.
Police announced the charges in a media release Thursday evening but did not provide the 20-year-old’s name.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on Friday morning.
