The WHL’s Regina Pats wrapped up a four-game swing through Alberta with a 7-1 loss to the host Edmonton Oil Kings on Sunday.
Regina finished the trip with a 1-3-0-0 record and now is 6-17-2-0 this season.
In Sunday’s game — Regina’s third in three days — Jalen Luypen scored twice for Edmonton.
Vladimir Alistrov and Tyler Horstmann each had a goal and two assists for the Oil Kings, who got their other goals from Ethan McIndoe, Carter Souch and Dylan Guenther.
Robbie Holmes scored for the Pats.
Sebastian Cossa made 32 saves for Edmonton (17-6-4-2). Donovan Buskey stopped 26 shots in the Pats’ net.
Regina is to return to action Friday against the host Winnipeg Ice.
