More adult players are now investing in the protective equipment.
The Saskatoon Police Traffic Unit is asking drivers to be mindful of signage, especially barricades.
In a tweet, police said a driver moved a barricade Friday night and drove toward an active police investigation.
“We don’t put up barricades for fun,” the post read.
It’s been tough for first responders with 2 very serious collisions occurring within 12 hrs. This was made more difficult on Friday night by a driver who exited his car, moved a barricade and drove towards an active police investigation. Police charged the driver with tampering with a traffic sign and driving on the wrong side of the road.
