Two likeable characters are front and centre in this year’s push for a Grey Cup championship.
Head coach Craig Dickenson is approachable to fans and members of the media, and never insults the intelligence of either with indignant and non insightful responses. I’m still amazed that no team has convinced him to be a head coach before now.
What’s not to like about Cody Fajardo? The guy who always considers himself last on the depth chart at training camp has proven he deserves to be the starter. He’s also proven that he is humble and community minded.

The Riders are hosting their first western final in a decade, and thanks to their head coach, starting quarterback, and others in this organization, this may be the easiest Saskatchewan Roughrider team to cheer for in the last ten years as well.
