A Saskatoon Christmas tradition is back for another year.
The BHP Enchanted Forest opens Friday at the Forestry Farm Park with a walking tour from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
People can enjoy the light display from the comfort of their vehicles starting on Saturday, and every evening until Jan. 6 with the exception of Jan. 4, where the park will again be reserved for walking traffic.
This year’s theme is Starry Starry Nights and the new light display is the Shooting Stars.
Last year, more than 80,000 visitors came through the gates and $275,000 was raised for the Saskatoon Zoo and Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation. In 20 years, over $2.5 million has been raised for both causes.
Admission at the Gate is $10 per person or $35 per vehicle. Discounted passes are also available at any Co-op food store and gas bar, or Shoppers Drug Mart location in Saskatoon.
